Select2 alternative

@ghiscoding do you have a choice of js dropdown control other than Select2? I didn't really register that Select2 is a jquery plugin, so I need to drop it in my own frmework as a jquery dependency. Just asking because I have had problems with the HTML structure of dropdowns conflicting with Slicjgrid's HTML structure.

I'm hearing that Tom Select or Choices.js are good options.

yes I migrated to multiple-select lib many years ago and never actually used Select2. Then at some point I wanted to drop all jQuery code so I forked the multiple-select lib (because it had jQuery) and created multiple-select-vanilla which I have been using for several years now. I mainly dropped jQuery from it and also added a bunch of features that I wanted for my grids. So in my grid repos, I have built-in single/multiple select Editor and Filter, so users can use it directly in the grid since it's all built-in
