Great project!
I had the same problem that my Fridge Box in the boat died last week. By lookin for solutions I stumbled across this project.
I compiled the software via Arduino IDE and connected to the AP. However, when I close the AP it should come back with a Fridgecontrol_AP. Instead I get an "unknown ssid" and I am unable to connect to this AP.
Am I doing something wrong?
An additional feature would be a small touchdisplay in order to see the temperatur and maybe adjust the temp.

The WiFi manger should be used to connect with an existing AP on the boat. According to my experience, the isolated AP does not work rliable (https://github.com/tzapu/WiFiManager).

But it's not difficult to change to code to work as AP.

And it's Open Source. You can extemd it also to use it with a display.
