Concurrent MCP clients now keep independent context history while sharing repository caches. An OS lock serializes daemon startup and stale socket recovery; shared connections cannot switch repositories. Adds a real MCP health check, bounded handshakes, graceful termination, and reproducible lifecycle tests with macOS/Linux CI. Local validation: 106 Rust tests, 12 transaction tests, and TypeScript typechecking passed. A synthetic 41-file context benchmark measured median startup plus retrieval of 37.2 ms standalone versus 16.4 ms shared across ten paired samples. This is not an end-to-end agent benchmark or evidence of token savings. Windows sharing remains unimplemented; Windows retains standalone stdio.
