How to get syntax highlighting in custom theme resource dictionary?

Hi all,

I am currently trying to create a custom theme for one of our apps. As the examples like SimpleTheme are showing the control templates need to be inside ResourceDictionary with build action AvaloniaResource.

The question is now: How to get syntax highlighting/code completion when a file is set to AvaloniaResource?
Can not set it to Avalonia Xaml because then I will get a build error from my merge include that demands a Avalonia Resource.

It somehow sorted itself out ... no idea what the problem was. No errors in the output.
