Conversation
- Updated CLI command documentation to include new commands for serving static directories and installing AI skills. - Revised project initialization instructions to reflect the new pnpm monorepo structure and automatic command loading. - Clarified template usage and directory structure in the development workflow documentation. - Adjusted README templates to specify the correct API port and improved clarity on project setup steps.
HTTP services already listen on 8801. Socket and WebSocket runtime defaults, examples, and docs still used 8081. Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>
init now asks for simple-ts, simple-js, or monorepo. The simple templates are a single HTTP service with sample routes and no database. Pass -t to skip the prompt. Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

Note
Low Risk
Mostly scaffolding, docs, and default-port constant changes; init behavior is additive with tests, with no auth or runtime API changes to the framework core beyond the port default.
Overview
koapp initnow supports three project templates:simple-ts(default),simple-js, andmonorepo, chosen interactively or with-t. Scaffolding logic lives insrc/cli/scaffold.js, which rendersassets/simple/{ts,js}/orassets/monorepo/, substitutes${name}, copiesassets/skillsinto.agents/skills/(with reback disabled), and for monorepo renamesbin/monoapp.jstobin/<app-name>.js.New simple templates ship minimal koapp HTTP services (sample routes, no DB) in TypeScript or CommonJS. Docs and bundled skills drop
koapp gen/ JSON-schema CRUD generation in favor of hand-written modules following the monorepo layout.Default listen ports for socket/WebSocket clients, monorepo
API_PORT, and examples/docs move from 8081/8082 to 8801.tests/scaffold.tests.jsand extended pnpm pin tests cover template output.Reviewed by Cursor Bugbot for commit c160d2b. Bugbot is set up for automated code reviews on this repo. Configure here.
