Description

Document the existing Foundry resource prerequisites for agent tracing in azure-ai-projects:

  • Add a Foundry project prerequisite, followed immediately by an Application Insights resource connected to that project for agent tracing.
  • Link Quickstart: Set up Microsoft Foundry resources beside the existing Agents introduction, without a tab query or section anchor.
  • Use locale-neutral Microsoft Learn URLs, following Azure SDK link guidance.

Only the package README changes. Existing layout, snippets, SDK behavior, samples, dependencies, and provisioning remain unchanged.

Related: Azure/azure-sdk-for-python#49728.

Validation

The repository link verifier with link-guidance checks and git diff --check pass. No runtime tests were added or run because this changes only setup documentation; all existing snippets and version markers are preserved. No changelog is needed for this documentation-only change.

All SDK Contribution checklist

  • The pull request does not introduce breaking changes.
  • CHANGELOG is updated for new features, bug fixes or other significant changes: not applicable (README-only change).
