+**Dr. Clément Caporal** is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), working in the Computer Vision and Pattern Discovery (CVPD) group.
+
+Previously, he earned his PhD in Computer Science from Ecole Polytechnique, France, under the supervision of Anatole Chessel and Emmanuel Beaurepaire on large scale **brainbow analysis**. Then, he worked as a postdoc in the Pasteur Institute, France, in the group of Roberto Toro, studying the effect of **brain folding** on cell shape.

+His research focuses on **bioimage analysis**, where he develops **deep learning models** and **visualisation tools** for the segmentation, detection, and analysis of microscopy images, with applications in **neuroscience** and **cell biology**.
+
+
