The official funding resolution for the call was published on **13 May 2025**, and the network formally started on **1 September 2025**.

AIM-Net brings together leading Spanish groups working at the intersection of **microscopy**, **quantitative biology**, and **artificial intelligence** to address one of the field's key challenges: integrating imaging data across scales, from molecules and cells to tissues, and across different microscopy modalities. By combining experimental and computational expertise, the network aims to develop AI-based strategies for data integration, interpretation, and modeling in bioimaging.
