Cajac/README.md

Hi, I'm Cajac! 👋

Who am I?

I'm a threat hunter by day and a CTF-player by night. I'm a cybersecurity enthusiast and perpetual learner interested in most things cybersecurity.

I'm aspiring to be a purple teamer, practicing both offensive and defensive techniques. I like both theoretical analysis and practical hands-on hacking.

I'm based in Sweden.

About the handle

What does 'Cajac' mean?

Well, nothing as far as I know. Due to lack of imagination I wrote a small script that generated 5-character palindromes to use as possible a hacker handle. Cajac was the chosen result.

What else am I up to?

CTF platforms

I spend a fair amount of my free time learning new things and fine-tuning my procedures on several CTF and wargames sites, including for example:

GitBook

Most of my notes are collected on my CTF notes GitBook.

It's a collection of notes for IT security capture the flag competitions and wargames.

The GitBook is part of my evolving efforts to build my second brain.

Please note that the GitBook is a continuous work-in-progress! Some sections are rather mature while other are very rudimentary.

YouTube

I collect and create IT security-related playlists on my YouTube-channel to facilitate my learning:

Currently I have more than 400 playlists related to cyber security and programming. Topics such as Threat hunting, Cyber threat intelligence, Capture the flag competitions, Wargames, Penetration-testing, Red teaming, PowerShell, Python, Reverse engineering, Malware, Blue teaming, Digital forensics, Open-source intelligence, DevOps, and Hacking.

I don't have, and don't plan to release, any videos created by myself though.
