Lineage & Attribution

Chaptarr is a fork of Readarr, an eBook and audiobook manager that is part of the Servarr project family. Readarr is built on the shared codebase behind Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr, and Prowlarr.

Chaptarr would not exist without the years of work the Servarr team and their contributors put into those projects. We are grateful for it.

Not Affiliated With Servarr

Chaptarr is an independent, community-run project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by the Servarr team or the Readarr, Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr, or Prowlarr projects. Please direct Chaptarr questions and support requests to the Chaptarr project — not to them.

AI Development Disclosure

Chaptarr is developed and maintained with the assistance of AI tools.

Third-Party Components

Chaptarr's optional audiobook conversion shells out to external tools that are bundled in the official Chaptarr Docker image — they are not part of this source tree. Each remains under its own license:

FFmpeg LGPL-2.1-or-later (portions GPL, depending on build) https://ffmpeg.org/

m4b-tool is a PHP application and runs under the PHP runtime provided by the image.
