A persistent Survey Marker, coordinate journal, and physical archive add-on for Minecraft Bedrock.
Andy's Explorer's Notebook turns the places you discover into a lasting record of your world. Build a permanent Survey Marker at a cave entrance, village, portal, base, structure, landmark, or other meaningful site, then use the craftable leather Notebook on its Lodestone to record the exact coordinates, dimension, Minecraft day, category, site name, optional Waystone status, and your own field note.
Every entry is stored persistently in the world and presented through an immersive, signed-book-style two-page interface. Losing or destroying the physical Notebook does not erase the log: craft another one and the player's complete collection returns. Optional numbered archive volumes create real signed books that can be shelved, preserved, or shared while the living Notebook continues to retain every recorded location.

The .mcaddon imports the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack together. No separate dependency is required.
- Download the official
.mcaddonfrom CurseForge or the GitHub mirror above. - Open it with Minecraft Bedrock and wait for both packs to import.
- Create a world or edit an existing world.
- Open Behavior Packs → My Packs.
- Activate Andy's Explorer's Notebook BP.
- Confirm that the linked Resource Pack is also active.
- Use the active Behavior Pack's gear if you want to change world-wide features.
- Enter the world and craft the Explorer's Notebook.
On a Realm or Bedrock server, activate the add-on on the world before uploading or launching it. Back up important worlds before installing or updating any add-on.
Combine these items in any arrangement at a Crafting Table:
- 1 Book & Quill
- 1 Compass
- 1 Lodestone
Build this exact vertical structure:

When the completed structure validates, Minecraft displays a green confirmation and plays a randomized Amethyst Bud break sound. Use the Notebook directly on the middle Lodestone, enter the site's name, category, and note, then save the record.
If any required marker part is broken later, its entry changes to Needs Repair without losing any saved information. Restoring the exact structure returns it to Verified.
Use the Notebook in the air to open its custom signed-book-style interface. Each paper page fits up to two compact survey records. Native-style corner arrows turn spreads, and the small gear opens personal Waystone and Custom Category settings.
The custom Notebook has no 49-entry cap. New entries continue through additional pages and remain stored in the world even when the physical Notebook is destroyed.
Craft the Explorer's Archive Bookshelf with a Chiseled Bookshelf, Compass, and Ink Sac in any arrangement. Carry Book & Quill items, then use the Notebook on the shelf to print only entries recorded since the previous successful print.
Each numbered signed volume holds up to 49 entries and consumes one Book & Quill. Printing is optional: the Notebook always retains the complete master log. Archive copies can be stored in the six-slot Explorer's Archive Bookshelf, placed in regular Chiseled Bookshelves, or shared with other players.

The Behavior Pack gear provides enabled-by-default world controls for:

These world settings do not erase existing entries or personal category information.
The add-on adds no custom commands. Normal use requires no cheats or operator permissions.
