Visual Studio installing link is broken

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open the following page: https://github.com/ChromeDevTools/chrome-devtools-mcp
2. Click the install button:

After that, the issue occurs:

It even reproduced on a fresh just created VM with Windows 11 and Visual Studio 2022 and 2026

I think this is a VS Code vs Visual Studio mismatch rather than a broken MCP install.

The install button in the README is under the Copilot / VS Code section. Visual Studio 2022/2026 is a different client, and I do not see a Visual Studio-specific setup documented there.

For VS Code on Windows, the README also provides the manual code --add-mcp route.

If the button also fails from VS Code, posting the exact error or URI it opens would make it easier to tell whether the button itself is stale.

I took another look at the README and I need to correct my previous comment — there is a separate Visual Studio install button. I was looking at the VS Code setup before.
One thing I noticed is that the normal config uses:
npx -y chrome-devtools-mcp@latest
while the Visual Studio install link seems to pass npx without the -y argument.
Not sure if that's actually the cause, but it might be worth checking.
Does the link fail before Visual Studio opens, or does Visual Studio open and then fail during the MCP installation? If you can share the exact error and VS version/build, that should narrow it dow
