- "bio": "- love studying all things viruses and their funky forms of noncanonical protein translation (currently working on building a pipeline for characterizing such proteins @Schaffer Lab)\n- this past summer worked @Genentech engineering precision gene editing enzymes using ML based approaches and validating them through numerous molecular and cell based assays. also worked at Bakar Labs the summer before building bioinformatics pipelines for identifying viral variants of oncolytic therapeutic potential. my work actually is surprisingly wet lab heavy, but I find computational biology incredibly useful for informing the decisions I make with my wet lab based experiments and for the downstream data analysis which is why I joined this club.\n- my work often involves combining science research with entrepreneurship with public policy. i've worked on three entrepreneurial projects over the course of my undergrad journey and founded ventures across edtech, biotech, and healthtech that have been accepted into programs like Big ideas, NSF I-Corps, Berkeley StEP (student entrepreneurship program), eHUB, and for this upcoming fall semester, Skydeck Pad-13.\n- ran two half marathons and currently training for a third. overall i'm into early morning running, lifting, pilates, and overall enjoy dabbling in new sports\n- danced on a nationally ranked dance team for the first two years of undergrad and traveled + competed across the country. I love to try new dance forms for fun and tried out ballroom and salsa junior year (I have been now dancing for 15+ years)\n- watching a rom-com or feel good sitcom and making homemade pasta is how i like to relax\n- fun fact: I used to coach TEDx speakers",
