This page provides help on common problems and pitfalls when installing or using PIConGPU.

  • PIConGPU does not compile after changing or updating the branch: Commonly, the parameter set created using createParameterSet does not match to the current code anymore. You need to re-create the parameter set, clean the cmake cache and re-configure the parameter set using the configure tool.

  • tbg: command not found: tbg is located in <$PICSRC>/src/tools/bin. You should add this directory to your $PATH environment variable.
