Summary

Toolkit: exact pricing, legality oracle and free-endpoint retime for P104-family words (no kappa). This package claims no kappa and no new word. It packages the tooling behind the recent P104 retime line (PR5551, PR5553, PR5561) as one command, tk, with a regression suite that reproduces their published numbers.

Package: research/p104-designer-toolkit/ (task card scalar-to-moment, recorded as scope_status: changed; the package ships verification and retime tooling rather than pursuing scalar A2 contractions).

What it contains

  • tk price: exact invoice and Decimal-50 root, crossing interval, side constraints and budgets; --real runs the unmodified PR5545 verifier stack with only census/claim literals patched. Reproduces PR5545 .0030411718, PR5551 .0030415312, PR5553 .0030428243, PR5561 .0030814243 (starts-only .0030768800) and the published real-stack crossing intervals.
  • tk check: legality oracle listing all violations with rule string, event, register role and frame; three illegal mutants are localised in the suite.
  • tk retime / tk evretime: exact-lattice retime with named freedoms and the event-level retime with free ADD placement (CP-SAT, optional). retime 5551 --free starts, finals reproduces PR5561; evretime 5561 gives .003081500768 (+7.6e-8).
  • tk diff, tk sens, tk pricer, tk hops: word diff (5551 -> 5561: scalar program identical, 170 stops deleted), invoice marginals, rank-r owned-pivot pricing generalising PR5392 (reproduces its RESULT; rank-8 synthetic +7.2248e-5 / +1.4449e-4), and the delivery-program counter (916 / 2797).
  • tk gen (hub-partition generator) is workspace-only and not replayed here.

infra/, pricer/, words/ (byte-identical to the PRs, hashes in SOURCES.json) and inputs/pr5545-source-closure.tar.gz (used unmodified) make the package self-contained apart from reading research/native-transpose-owned (PR5392) in place. Nothing is written into the checkout.

Conditional on

No claim is made. The retime commands assume the verifier's free helper start/final frames, which is not a maintainer-approved contract; the toolkit reports the gain but cannot decide admissibility. Generic CI has no ortools, so the retime is verified there from its shipped output (diff, exact price and legality); tests/regress.py --solver re-derives it where ortools exists.

Verification

  • python3 scripts/research_package.py --package research/p104-designer-toolkit --check-only
  • Replay (two commands, each under 600 s): tests/regress.py --quick --pricer --real 5553 and tests/regress.py --real 5551,5561: exact kappa of all five words, localised mutants, the 5551 -> 5561 diff, sens table, PR5392 pricer results, and the real-stack crossings of PR5551, PR5553 and PR5561.

Credits

PR5544/5545 (aliromman) and PR5551 (thu-nmrc) for the P104 word line and verifier stack; PR5553 for the hand-off word; PR5392 (aliromman) for native-transpose-owned; PR5472 (GamingPuzzled) for the hand-off precedent. All predecessor credit retained.

…-endpoint retime; no kappa)

One command, tk, for P104-family words: exact pricing, legality oracle with
localisation, exact-lattice and event-level retime, word diff, invoice marginals,
rank-r owned-pivot pricing and the delivery-program counter. The regression suite
reproduces PR5551/5553/5561 (kappa and real-stack crossings) and the retime
5551 -> 5561. No kappa claim.
