Get payment events or payment status for CrossmintPayButton without redirect URLs

• Can we get the payment events or payment status for CrossmintPayButton without using redirect URLs or isn't it the only option?
• Is there anyway way to override onClick event for CrossmintPayButton so that I can execute few function before the payment window popup is triggered?
