System-Wide Alert: preview timer does not auto-update after scheduled time elapses #5331

Description

@MMilosz

Describe the bug

System-Wide Alert preview does not update the countdown timer display after the set time has passed. The preview continues to show the original relative time (e.g., 'In 1 minute(s)') even after that time has elapsed

Observed in demo.dspace.org, sandbox.dspace.org

Image

To Reproduce

  1. Login as admin and go to /admin/system-wide-alert
  2. Set System-Wide Alert as active, enter any message, and enable the countdown timer
  3. Set the timer to e.g., 1 minute from now
  4. Wait >1 minute
  5. Observe the preview still shows In 1 minute(s): message

Expected behavior

The preview should dynamically update to reflect the remaining time
