External reference

Hi,

Could I ask if you've considered adding the option to use an external reference signal in place of ref_X?

Would it be straightforward to add this feature?

Hi Jon,
Glad you like the project. Adding in an external reference channel sounds like a good feature to have. Unfortunately, I can't spend the time to implement this feature, though. I would have to do this in my spare time and it is not as straightforward as it sounds. Timing stability of the ADC and DAC streams inside the MCU is crucial for a lock-in and I foresee several hurdles. So, I keep it in mind for the future.
