Tab5 OS is licensed under Apache License 2.0. The release LICENSE file contains that license text. The firmware also links the following pinned projects; exact registry hashes and transitive relationships are recorded in the released dependencies.lock.

LVGL's own copyright inventory identifies optional and bundled libraries under additional permissive licenses. The release includes that upstream inventory unchanged. Only libraries enabled by the compiled configuration are linked into the firmware.

The upstream M5Tab5-UserDemo repository has an MIT root license. Its platforms/tab5/components/m5stack_tab5/ component has its own Apache-2.0 license and file headers; the vendored component retains that license in components/m5stack_tab5/LICENSE.
