What

In .opencode/plugins/ponytail.mjs:

  • Only real levels: /ponytail <arg> only accepts off/lite/full/ultra (normalizeMode instead of normalizePersistedMode). A flag that already holds review falls back to the default.
  • default subcommand: /ponytail default <level> now saves the default via writeDefaultMode, like the Claude hook and pi.

Why

Tests

There are two new tests in tests/opencode-plugin.test.js. Both fail on main.

Checks

npm test (all green on this branch alone), node scripts/check-rule-copies.js, node scripts/check-versions.js. No ruleset text changed, so no benchmark (CONTRIBUTING.md).

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

`/ponytail review` was saved to the OpenCode flag, so every later chat got a
one-line pointer to the review skill instead of the ruleset (the latch fixed
for Claude Code in DietrichGebert#736). The plugin now accepts only off/lite/full/ultra,
and an old saved `review` falls back to the default.

`/ponytail default <level>` was read as one unknown level and silently did
nothing. It now saves the default via writeDefaultMode, as the Claude hook
and pi do.

Thanks! Tested it in OpenCode 2.0.27: on main /ponytail review got stuck as the level and /ponytail default lite was ignored, with this PR review is never saved and the default works. Merged, will be in the next release.
