Format math preview is not recognizing square brackets inside square roots #1693

While working on the project https://www.pgdp.net/c/project.php?id=projectID448fe0c8b5e31, Format math preview is not recognizing expressions such as \(\sqrt[3]{-125x^{3}y^{6}}\) which uses squared brackets inside square roots. Since this is a math textbook which is currently being formatted as a MathJax file (using m2svg), I wonder if the referred issued could be fixed in some way. There is a whole chapter which uses \sqrt[n]{x}.

Does m2svg render it correctly? I'm assuming it doesn't as they both use the same version of MathJax.

Yes, it does. According to Ray, DP Format is considering the square brackets as footnote’s anchor.
