Local Home Assistant integration for LaMetric devices using the device API (lametric-py) with Zeroconf / SSDP / DHCP discovery and a manual config flow.

Requirements

  • Home Assistant 2026.7.3 or later
  • A LaMetric device on the local network
  • lametric-py ≥ 1.3.13 (installed automatically as a dependency)

Development

For local development with uv sync --dev, use Python 3.14.2 or later.

Installation

Open your Home Assistant instance and open a repository inside the Home Assistant Community Store.

Install directly from the HACS default store or copy custom_components/lametric_hass_local/ manually into your HA custom_components/ folder and restart Home Assistant.

Setup

Add the integration in Home Assistant and enter the device host plus API key. If discovery already found the device, only the API key is required.

The API key is available in the LaMetric mobile app under Device -> Settings -> Wi-Fi, or in the developer portal at https://developer.lametric.com/user/devices.

Documentation

Full documentation — including configuration, entities, services, pixel streaming, and contributing — is available at electroattacks.github.io/lametric-hass-local.
