  • 🎓 I’m a PhD researcher in Computer Science at the University of Cádiz, working on the application of Artificial Intelligence to biodiversity monitoring and ecological data.
  • 🔭 My research focuses on multimodal remote sensing for wildlife monitoring, combining data from different sensors such as radar, RGB and thermal cameras, and bioacoustics.
  • 📖 Latest publication: A Bird Song Detector for improving bird identification through Deep Learning: a case study from Doñana, check code in BIRDeep Bird Song Detector
  • 🎓 All my University Code is available at UHU-Code for the Computer Science Bachelor and at UCO-MUICE for the Computational Intelligence and IoT Master.
  • 🌱 My goal is to develop AI-based methods that can make large-scale ecological monitoring more automated, reliable, and scalable, while addressing challenges such as small targets, limited labelled data, domain shift, and real-world deployment.
