This playbook gets things wrong sometimes, and fees, rules, and dates drift every season. Corrections beat pride here. Help.
- Easiest: open an Issue on this repo describing the fix ("the guard fee changed," "Region is a different Saturday," "the tea place changed its rewards program"). A link or photo as proof settles everything instantly.
- Comfortable with GitHub: open a pull request against the page. Small and factual merges fast.
- Neither: tell the maintainer in the parent groups. It'll get here.
- Facts with sources: dates, costs, links, rule changes, corrected names.
- Plain English. Write like you'd explain it in the pickup line.
- Year-stamps on anything that can drift ("as of fall 2026").
- FloMo specifics and general Texas knowledge both welcome, labeled as whichever they are.
- Anything about specific kids. No student names, no placement gossip, no "which freshman got moved."
- Private contact info. Role emails yes, personal numbers and addresses no.
- Passwords, door codes, and discount codes. Family channels carry those.
- Drama. There is no drama section. There will never be a drama section.
- Criticism of staff, judges, or other programs. The internet has other venues.
No pep talks, no purple prose, no em dashes. Blunt and kind. Jokes dry. Sources at the bottom. If a sentence would embarrass you read aloud in a booster meeting, cut it.
When this repo and the WISK disagree, the WISK is right and this repo has a bug. Say so, we'll fix it.
