I tried to get your project working with the fuse-emulator for MacOs, but alas I have to inform you that installing that via brew install does not work, and has not worked since like a year or so.

I did get hold of Fuse by other means but maybe I'll give the good 'ole Spectrum a pass and try CP/M for the first time. I do own a physical ZX-81, but did not memorize Load is on the J key.
