Can't connect to Samsung Galaxy A17

The example works on my laptop connected via bluetooth. But with my phone, it can't even start to connect at all. Just stuck at "Pairing..." and "Couldn't connect"

my board is: ESP32-C3
package version: 3.3.11

HID service 1812 present.
Passkey callback never fires.
Pairing callback never fires.

This seems like something that you would see with a stale bond... can you try calling clearBonds() in your code and then forget on your phones bt settings (also reset BT - Turn off/on)
Also, if you are not already, just try it using the basic example sketch with no changes.
