📦 SOS Reception

SOS Reception is a modern Reception Management System developed to replace traditional paper-based reception logbooks with a secure, efficient, and user-friendly digital solution. It enables organizations to manage incoming and outgoing packages, maintain reception records, monitor deliveries, and generate insightful reports—all from a centralized web application.

The system was developed as an internship project for a security company to streamline front desk operations and improve package tracking across multiple departments and buildings. Instead of manually recording deliveries in registers, receptionists can create digital records, assign tracking information, capture recipient signatures, scan barcodes/QR codes, and notify employees when their packages arrive.

Built with PHP, MySQL, PDO, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and Chart.js, SOS Reception follows modern web development practices including secure authentication, role-based access control, prepared SQL statements, activity logging, and responsive design.

The application supports three different user roles—Admin, Manager, and Receptionist—each with carefully designed permissions to ensure data security while allowing users to perform only the actions relevant to their responsibilities.
