installed the app with homebrew.
wished to join two png images vertically and getting error
magick: no decode delegate for this image format

Steps to Reproduce

installed app with homebrew
tried to join 2 png vertically with above error
did brew info imagemagick to make sure png was included
9 required dependencies were installed :
freetype ✔, jpeg-turbo ✔, libheif ✔, libpng ✔, libtiff ✔, libtool ✔, little-cms2 ✔, webp ✔, xz ✔
don't know how to fix

You need to put double quotes around file names with spaces in them.

In the future, please copy and past your command and error from the terminal rather than pasting a picture.

Try including the suffix inside your quotes. If that does not work, then post your images. IM may not like the @ in the file name, but I would have to test with your images.

ok for some mysterious reason, renaming the pics to pic01 and pic02 does seems to do the trick.
This being said, even for an easy vertical wallpaper merge, results are far from satisfactory.
Pasting commands, individual pics and result.

magick "pic01".png "pic02".png -append output.png

Try putting the quotes around the full image name including the suffix

With no spaces in the filename, you do not need quotes

magick pic1.png pic2.png -append x.png

yes, check it out, copy-pasted it with only difference being renaming 1 to 01 and 2 to 02

Also where did you get your IM version and what command did you use to get it
