ci: add React Doctor with pinned versions and no data sharing (CHAT-47) - #92
Conversation
Runs React Doctor on pull requests, where it comments only on the issues a PR introduces relative to the merge base, and on pushes to main, where it publishes the counts as a commit status. It is advisory: it never fails the check. The action is pinned to a commit (v2.3.1) rather than the floating v2 tag, since a third-party action runs here with write access to PRs, issues and statuses, and the CLI to 0.9.17 in both the workflow and the scripts. By default the scan reports a score to react.doctor, looks every dependency up on Socket.dev, and sends Axiom / Sentry telemetry. doctor.config.json turns off the score and the supply-chain lookups, and REACT_DOCTOR_NO_TELEMETRY (in CI) and --no-score (locally) turn off the telemetry. `bun run doctor` reports what CI would on a PR (new issues vs main); `bun run doctor:full` reports everything. Existing findings need no suppression list: they were triaged in CHAT-46, and the changed scope keeps them out of PR comments. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

React Doctor 0.9.17 enables telemetry by default.
doctor.config.jsonsetsshare: false, but that option only disables share URLs. It does not disable telemetry. Local scans can therefore send telemetry such as invocation data, project characteristics, scan metrics, and path metadata.Pass the documented opt-out to both commands:

Resolves CHAT-47. Split out of CHAT-46 (#91), which fixes the real findings from the first full scan.
What it does
fetch-depth: 0makes that possible).main: a full scan, with the counts published as a commit status.Supply chain
millionco/react-doctoris pinned to the commit behindv2.3.1instead of the floatingv2tag. A third-party action runs here with write access to PRs, issues and statuses.0.9.17, in both the workflow (version) and thedoctorscripts.actions/checkout@v7; the template had@v5).No data sharing
By default, a scan reports a score to react.doctor, looks up every dependency on Socket.dev, and sends Axiom and Sentry telemetry. I traced these through the CLI source; this PR turns each off:
"noScore": trueindoctor.config.json"supplyChain": { "enabled": false }REACT_DOCTOR_NO_TELEMETRY: "1"on the job--no-scorein the scriptsdoctor.config.jsonalso sets"blocking": "none", so local runs are advisory like CI (the CLI's default is"error").Local scripts
bun run doctor: new issues compared withmain, the same as CI reports on a PR.bun run doctor:full: every finding in the project. Both are documented in the README's Development section.
Existing findings
No suppression list. All of them were triaged in CHAT-46, and the PR scope (
changed) keeps pre-existing findings out of PR comments. A list of per-file overrides would also hide new real issues in those files.Permissions
