Issues

• Foundation: get_backend ignores fixtures= under live mode, so a deliberately-offline backend built through it would attempt a real API call

• Foundation: give style.py a rendering-assertions test module — #267, #278 and #286 are one defect in three faces

• Foundation: Notebook (37-research-domain-tagging) fails ~1 run in 4 on 'cell 2 wrote to stderr', taking Notebooks (execute) with it on unrelated PRs

• Foundation: an empty notebook matrix produces no per-recipe leg at all, so a missing clean-kernel execution is indistinguishable from a passing one

• Foundation: multi-proposition Noul issues do not require positives, truth combinations, or an outcome-determining row — the requirement only reaches builders via briefs

• Foundation: nothing requires a recipe's confidence gate to come from the shared helper, so a hardcoded gate SKIPS three checks instead of failing them

• Foundation: plot_confusion_matrix truncates tick labels at 14 chars with no wrap or rotate, so two classes sharing a prefix would render identically

  priority: p2type: foundation

• Foundation: the objective-pin check enumerates polarity instead of deriving it, so a spelling asserted ABSENT is credited as present

• Foundation: sum() over floats is not bit-stable across CPython 3.12, so a byte-exact fixture assertion can pass on one Tests leg and fail the other

• Foundation: _find_function_body does not stop at a decorator, so a decorated neighbour makes the strong-form guard fail with an unrelated SyntaxError

• Foundation: FLOAT_FORMAT misses aligned format specs, so metric-line guards silently skip an aligned baselines table

• Foundation: plot_risk_coverage joins points in input order with no sorting and no points-only mode, so a mechanism-vs-baselines figure draws a zig-zag implying a frontier

• Foundation: plot_confusion_matrix truncates tick labels to 14 chars with no collision check — two labels sharing 11 characters would render as the same tick

• Foundation: full-suite totals differ by ~60 tests depending on the optional live extra, and a module-level importorskip hides it behind one SKIPPED line

• Foundation: recipe files refer readers to "the build note" on a GitHub issue — 8 published recipes, and section 6 bans only #NNN and "the issue"

• Foundation: plot_confusion_matrix takes one label list for both axes and hardcodes Gold/Predicted, so a gold-content-versus-action matrix cannot be labelled correctly

• Foundation: a Next-steps exercise's quoted numbers are structurally unpinnable, and four recipes have shipped one wrong

• Foundation: no convention for a recipe whose coverage is mostly deterministic, where the metric describes the Python guard rather than the decision

• Foundation: docs/notebook-style.md mandates the em dash in prose; 32 of 40 published notebooks use ASCII ' -- ' and no check enforces either

• Foundation: no check requires a recipe to have any figure, so a figureless notebook satisfies both plot guards by vacuity

• Foundation: no check notices a number written as a WORD in recipe prose, which is how the one false count in a thrice-reviewed recipe survived

• Foundation: the inbound-link audit accepts a link in ANY markdown cell, while the rule it implements is about the Next steps section

• Foundation: three recipe-guard checks skip for a scripted recipe, one of which would FAIL — and the skips are keyed on responses.json rather than on the property each check means
