After version 2.0.0, will it no longer be possible to use Shannon with the Claude Code subscription, only via API key?

We were running Shannon for pentest analysis using the Claude Code subscription until July 16th.

We just received an "extra usage limit" notification; does this mean we can no longer use our subscription for Shannon?

Yes that's correct. Shannon 2.0.0 has moved to the Pi and that means the Claude Code subscription can't unfortunately be used.

Shannon v1 (v1.9.0) runs on the Claude Agent SDK, the last release before the pi harness. Running on the Claude Agent SDK means it can authenticate with an OAuth token from your Claude Code subscription instead of an Anthropic API key. Generate one with claude setup-token, then pick OAuth Token in npx @keygraph/shannon@1.9.0 setup or export it as CLAUDE_CODE_OAUTH_TOKEN.
