Baseline benchmark that runs on every PR and on master, comments the delta on the PR, and stores history in the Actions cache. No library source changes.
Cases
sortHeaders chrome / firefox / safari: 60000 calls each on a fixed, realistic HTTP/1.1 header set per browser (benchmark/fixtures/headers.json, 16-17 headers in alphabetical order plus one unknown X-Request-Id, so both the ordered and the remainder loops run). Sorting runs once per outgoing request. Asserts the output key order matches src/headers-order.json for that browser.
getBrowser top 100 user agents: 50000 passes over 100 real UAs (benchmark/fixtures/user-agents.json, same list as the top-user-agents devDependency). Asserts 77 chrome / 4 firefox / 19 safari per pass.
tls options top 100 user agents: 20000 passes of tls(ua), the options builder the got hook calls on every request. Asserts every result carries ciphers and signatureAlgorithms, and exactly the 77 chrome UAs get minVersion: 'TLSv1'.
Each case: one warmup, 7 runs, median wall ms with min-max range. A wrong result marks the run as an error and sets exit code 1, so a broken function cannot look fast.
Removed
benchmark/sort-headers.mjs: fetched https://vercel.com at runtime (network, non-deterministic input) and compared two inline copies of sortHeaders with tinybench, not the shipped function.
benchmark/package.json: only existed to install tinybench for that script. No pnpm-workspace.yaml references it.
The workflow uses the zero-install variant: the bench needs no dependencies, and skipping install also skips the postinstall that downloads src/headers-order.json, which would let upstream data drift move the numbers.

Overview
Adds continuous benchmarking for the shipped sortHeaders, getBrowser, and tls() APIs, wired into CI so PRs get performance comments and master keeps historical baselines in the Actions cache.
The new zero-dependency runner (benchmark/index.js) uses fixed fixtures (browser header sets and 100 real user agents), runs each case with warmup plus seven timed iterations, asserts correctness (header order, browser counts, TLS option shape), and writes benchmark-output.json for benchmark-action/github-action-benchmark. A benchmark workflow runs on PRs and master pushes without npm install so postinstall cannot drift header-order data. Removed the old tinybench script that hit the network and compared inline sortHeaders variants.
Also updates test files to require('ava').default for AVA 8 compatibility, and ignores local benchmark artifacts in .gitignore.

Walkthrough
The pull request adds repeatable benchmarks for header sorting, browser detection, and TLS-option generation. It adds a GitHub Actions workflow to run the benchmarks and process their results. It removes the previous standalone header-sorting benchmark.
Changes: Benchmarking
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Benchmark inputs and cases benchmark/fixtures/*, benchmark/index.js
Fixtures cover request headers and user agents. The runner defines cases for header sorting, browser detection, and TLS-option generation, with expected-output checks.
Benchmark execution and output benchmark/index.js, package.json, .gitignore, benchmark/package.json, benchmark/sort-headers.mjs
The runner takes seven timed samples per case, writes results to benchmark-output.json, and exits with status 1 when checks fail or reported timings are non-finite. The package script invokes the runner. The former benchmark script and manifest are removed, and benchmark output and cache paths are ignored.
The workflow runs on pushes to master and pull requests. It restores benchmark data, runs the benchmark script, processes results except for fork pull requests, and saves data on pushes to master.

The benchmark workflow runs, but its comparison comment lands on the commit instead of the PR conversation. Its token scopes are also broader than needed. Neither affects the library, so both can be fixed with small workflow edits before or shortly after merge.
