I’m Logan Cadman. I work as a Systems Engineer at Visa and I recently finished my M.S. in Computer Science at Colorado State University. My path into tech wasn’t the typical route. I started as an automotive technician working on VWs and Audis, learning real hands-on problem solving long before I touched Linux or wrote code. That background shaped how I think today: keep things simple, reliable, and easy to understand.
After that, I moved into systems administration and research at CSU, where I managed hundreds of Linux systems, automated anything repetitive, and worked on networking, security, and infrastructure projects. I spent a lot of time researching internet transmission errors, building adaptive honeypots, and writing tools in C and Python for system-level debugging. Now at Visa, I focus on Linux infrastructure and reliability at scale.
- 🚗 Car enthusiast. I love working on my Audis and my old Tacoma and I definitely own more tools than I need.
- 🏔️ Mountains. Snowboarding, exploring, or just being up there is where I feel the most relaxed.
- 🧠 Always learning. Lately I’ve been diving deeper into security, automation, and intelligent systems.
- 🎮 Gamer. When I’m not building something, I’m probably exploring an open world or playing a sim.
