OpenPocket

An affordable, compact ELRS transmitter with an integrated analog 5.8 GHz display. Built around cost-effective parts and designed to be truly usable

Concept

OpenPocket is a low-cost, all-in-one FPV transmitter with a built-in analog 5.8 GHz video display. The goal is to create a compact, pocket-friendly controller that doesn't compromise on usability — powered by cheap, readily available components.

Features

  • Integrated 5.8 GHz analog display — thin bezel, 4–6" screen
  • ELRS (ExpressLRS) — trusty, open-source radio link
  • 18650 battery powered — common, affordable cells
  • Cost-effective parts — designed around accessible, cheap hardware
  • OpenTX support (under consideration)
  • AIO PCB (under consideration) — single-board design to reduce size and assembly complexity

Status
