Welcome to battery-simulator-energy, a browser-based energy-modeling workspace for battery simulation. This application helps you explore load response, arbitrage value, backup duration, and solar-aware dispatch using configurable scenarios. You don't need any programming knowledge to use it.
- A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari)
- Internet connection for the initial download
- Windows computer (version 10 or 11)

DOWNLOAD NOW - battery-simulator-energy
The download is a self-contained HTML file that runs entirely in your browser. No installation required.
- Click the download link above
- Save the file to a folder on your Windows computer (e.g., Desktop or Documents)
- Double-click the downloaded file (it should open in your default web browser)
- If prompted, select "Open with" and choose your preferred browser
- Load Response Modeling: Simulate how batteries respond to different power demands
- Arbitrage Value Analysis: Discover optimal times to charge and discharge based on energy prices
- Backup Duration Estimation: Calculate how long a battery can power your home during outages
- Solar-Aware Dispatch: Integrate solar panel output for smarter battery management
- Adjust battery capacity from 5 kWh to 100 kWh
- Set power rating (kW) for charging/discharging
- Configure seasonal and daily usage patterns
- Modify energy price schedules (flat or time-of-use rates)
- Toggle solar integration on/off
The simulation models a battery system connected to your home and optionally solar panels. You define scenarios and the application calculates key metrics:
- Input Parameters: Enter your battery size, power limits, and usage habits
- Run Simulation: Click "Simulate" to process your settings
- View Results: See charts and reports for load coverage, savings, and backup time
- Compare Scenarios: Save different configurations to find the best setup
Scenario: You have a 10 kWh battery, 5 kW inverter, and want to reduce peak-time electricity costs.
- Set battery size to 10 kWh
- Set power rating to 5 kW
- Enable time-of-use pricing (peak: 4 PM - 9 PM)
- Run simulation → See potential monthly savings of $45-60
- Right-click the downloaded file and select "Open with"
- Choose your web browser from the list
- Ensure JavaScript is enabled in browser settings
- Refresh the page (F5)
- Check your browser is updated to latest version
- Disable ad-blockers temporarily
- Close other browser tabs
- Reduce number of saved scenarios
- Restart your browser
The simulator generates:
- Line charts for battery state of charge over time
- Bar graphs for energy costs and savings
- Pie charts for load distribution
- Summary tables with key metrics
- All data stays on your device
- No information sent to external servers
- No cookies or tracking
- Fully open-source code (view on GitHub)
