I'm using Swiftui for development, The .lottie file saved 30% of the app size but it seems too laggy on launch and presentation

In the meantime, to reduce memory and improve fps please try the following options:

• Disabling frame interpolation: config: AnimationConfig(useFrameInterpolation: false)
• Reducing the default calculated width and height, this will use a lower resolution image for the animation but can be adjusted to not be noticable whilst drastically improving performance: config: AnimationConfig(width: X, height: X)

Hi @jazminebarroga investigation is ongoing and improvements have been made over the course of the year, there are a few more improvements to be made inside the low level player dotlottie-rs.

I'll keep this ticket open so that I can update you both on improvements that land, cheers!

@jazminebarroga Please also be aware that the shared animation above depends heavily on raster assets (webp images) which once decoded have to be loaded in to memory and will weigh more in memory than what they do as webp.

This might be your case if your animation has raster images in it and might be something to be aware of.
