A full-stack web application that automatically analyzes credit card transactions, identifies eligible credit card protection benefits, and assists users in filing claims through an interactive multi-step workflow.
Many credit card users miss valuable protection benefits such as Device Insurance, Travel Insurance, Extended Warranty, and Purchase Protection because they are unaware of their eligibility.
CardShield AI helps users discover these hidden benefits by analyzing credit card transactions using a rule-based eligibility engine and guiding them through an intelligent claim submission process.
The application features an interactive dashboard, dynamic transaction management, OCR-assisted receipt upload, claim tracking, and a Spring Boot REST API backed by a MySQL database.

The dashboard provides an overview of eligible transactions, recoverable value, claims filed, and transaction history.
Users can simulate incoming card transactions to test the rule-based benefit detection engine.
The system analyzes newly added transactions and automatically detects eligible credit card protection benefits.
The application explains why the transaction qualifies for a protection benefit.
Users upload a purchase receipt for OCR-assisted claim processing.
Users can verify and edit the extracted claim details before submission.
A unique claim reference is generated and the claim is added to the tracker.
The dashboard updates automatically after successful claim submission.
