FR: Auto-config with (name) overrides

I've been using the card for a while now and I like it, but there's one thing with it that is a bit frustrating

My energy and power entities are setup in the energy dashboard, so auto config is perfect for me, except that some of the entity names I use in the energy dashboard are a bit too long in the sankey, especially when viewed horizontally.
So what I have to do is generate the auto config YAML, copy it into the card, and then edit or add shortened entity names where I need them.
That works fine, but then when I add or change an entity in the energy dashboard I have to go through the whole process again, re-generate the config yaml and re-customise it

What I would like is the auto config option but with the ability to set some override display names for energy dashboard entities. That way I can have shorter names in the sankey for horizontal view and everything else comes automatically from the energy dashboard

Don't believe there is one, other than the manual edit process I am doing now

You can already set custom names in the energy dashboard configuration. Adding complex options to overwrite the overwrite seems excessive.

Thanks for your feedback, it might work for the energy sankey, but not the power sankey which is what I am using.

The energy dashboard only allows override of the Battery energy entity name, not the power entity

Power entity name is G Battery Power which is fine for the Energy dashboard as there's plenty of room to display this in the energy dashboard:

The default power sankey pulling from the energy dashboard configuration doesn't supply a name, so populates the entity name:

The preview is shown vertically, the long name is more evident horizontally as I have the sankey configured:

If I override the empty name, it is displayed correctly in the sankey
