Agent Instructions

This repository is a practical GIS handoff for forest/field road verification around the former Bereznivskyi Raion, Ukraine.

Start Here

Read these files first:

  1. README.md
  2. PROJECT_HANDOFF.md
  3. gemini_handoff/PROMPT_FOR_GEMINI.md
  4. mobile/MOBILE_FIELD_WORKFLOW.md

Data Meaning

  • inside_boundary_* files are the preferred default layers.
  • raion_* files are wider buffer layers and should not be treated as the exact district.
  • boundary is the historic OSM boundary and should be styled as a blue dashed outline.
  • OSM-derived data is a baseline, not a complete truth set.

Preferred Map Behavior

For field use, prioritize clarity:

  • render all passable/possibly passable lines in one strong visible style;
  • keep the road type in popup attributes;
  • use dashed lines only for boundaries or manually drawn suspected candidates;
  • make lines visible over satellite imagery using a dark halo/outline.

Attribution

Keep © OpenStreetMap contributors visible in map UIs that use OSM-derived data.

Safety

Do not commit credentials. Do not infer illegal activity from map data alone. Treat suspected roads/cuts as field-check candidates.
