      <p>CyberShield is designed with privacy at its core. We do not store personal information. When you scan a URL, we only transmit the URL to the Google Safe Browsing API to determine its safety status. Scan history is stored locally in your browser only.</p>

      <h2>2. How We Use Data</h2>
      <p>URLs provided are used exclusively for security analysis. We do not maintain a permanent server-side log of your scans or share your scan history with third parties, other than the security providers required for the analysis itself.</p>

      <h2>3. Third-Party Services</h2>
      <p>Our service integrates with the Google Safe Browsing API and Google Gemini AI. Your use of CyberShield is also subject to <a href="https://policies.google.com/privacy" target="_blank" rel="noopener" style="color:var(--accent-cyan)">Google's Privacy Policy</a>.</p>

      <h2>4. Local Storage</h2>
      <p>We use browser localStorage only to remember your theme preference (Light/Dark mode) and to store your scan history locally on your device. No tracking cookies are used. Clearing your browser data will remove all stored information.</p>
