Random crashes

[fixator10]

After updating to windows 11 (not sure if actually related) app sometimes nearly completely freezes my entire PC (mouse slows down to 1 fps). And then some part of app crashes (visually nothing changes, app continues to work fine)

I haven't investigated the specific cause of the crash in detail yet, but judging from the call stack, it should be caused by Windows Media Control (SMTC). So I think you can avoid this random crash by disabling the 'Media Support Extension' (This also disable other features like Image Widget, Video Widget, etc.).
What media player are you using? Is that different from what you use on previous system?

Well, at the moment of crash, iirc, there was no media player active, other than Zen browser. Nope, i didn't changed it from previous OS version, tho there are periodical updates to browser (including underlying Firefox version), so may something changed in latest updates that triggers it. Last two times i triggered it, iirc, by accidentally moving (drag&drop) tab in browser.
