The ETA which determines the Progress bar is predicted using a decision tree. However, the training data all came from u/NilsLeo, so mileage may vary for other users. In certain edge cases the ETA can be wildly inaccurate and needs improvement.
Steps to reproduce

Upload a comic (CBZ/CBR/PDF) with a file size or page layout significantly different from typical test cases.

Start conversion.

Observe the ETA estimate at the beginning and during conversion.

Compare ETA to actual remaining time — the estimate may diverge dramatically.
Expected behavior
The ETA should be more accurate across a variety of file sizes and page types, not just the original training dataset. The prediction model should be improved or replaced to handle diverse inputs more reliably.
