💡 What: Pre-calculated boundary checks (x_min, x_max, y_min, y_max) prior to executing tightly nested spatial loops in safe_cell_removal and check_ecm_contact.
🎯 Why: To prevent redundant evaluation of cell boundary constraints and dim.x/dim.y range limitations during each iteration of the inner loops.
📊 Impact: Substantially reduces CPU instructions required for pixel tracking and spatial grid collision checking in high-frequency steps.
🔬 Measurement: Observe total processing time to drop across check_ecm_contact queries and deletion operations. Tests pass correctly.
