Ghost Loop

A Lovely mod that demonstrates the ZP5U3XIE Emperor/Fool exploit from a fresh Ghost Deck run, then automates the repeatable Tarot loop inside Balatro.

Install

1. Use your own copy of Balatro 1.0.1o-FULL. The guided route uses Ghost Deck, White Stake, seed ZP5U3XIE, a completed tutorial and an unlocked collection. Different unlocks or gameplay mods can change the shops.
2. Install Lovely 0.9.0, following its official platform instructions.
3. Extract the GhostLoop folder into your Balatro Mods directory. Keep lovely.toml inside Mods/GhostLoop/, not loose in Mods.
4. Launch Balatro through Lovely. Steamodded is not required. Test with other gameplay mods disabled.

Common mod folders:

• Windows: %AppData%/Balatro/Mods
• macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Balatro/Mods
• Steam Deck using Proton: ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/2379780/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Roaming/Balatro/Mods

On Mac, launch using Lovely's run_lovely_macos.sh; a normal Steam launch does not load Lovely. Other platforms use the launch method in Lovely's instructions. The mod contains portable Lua and no platform-specific executable. Native verification has been performed on Apple Silicon macOS; Windows, Linux and Steamodded combinations have not been verified.

Record the route

The compact panel starts at the bottom-right. Drag its title freely to move it. The − button or F8 collapses everything into a single + control. Drag that control to move it, or click it to expand the panel in place.

Select New run, then Confirm. This replaces the current run through Balatro's normal new-run function. Alternatively, start the correct seeded run yourself and press F6 before taking any actions. F6 also resumes an unfinished saved setup.

Setup automatically ramps from 4× to 64× and processes more native updates per frame as it progresses. The opening remains visible; the 1,000-cycle money grind uses Turbo. Every setup step is checked against the verified route. A mismatch stops automation. The opening sells Ghost Deck's Hex; no blinds are skipped.

Run cycles

Choose the batch size with the gray number button, then press Run. The choices are 1,000, 10,000, 100,000, 1 million and 10 million. Run always uses Turbo, processing native game actions in short batches with a live cycle counter and rate. The Double tags indicator shows the Double Tags currently held, including while a batch runs.
