…put) This directory is regenerated by 'pip install -e .' / 'python -m build' from setup.cfg + README.md and should never have been committed. It was already covered by the .gitignore added in a previous PR going forward; this removes the stale, already-tracked copy from the repo so local rebuilds (e.g. version bumps) stop showing up as uncommitted changes. Removes the already-tracked
colcon_live_tools.egg-info/directory from git (git rm -r --cached). It's a generated setuptools artifact (frompip install -e ./python -m build) that mirrorssetup.cfg+README.md— never meant to be committed, and already covered by the.gitignoreadded in #3.Why
It kept showing up as an uncommitted local diff every time the package was rebuilt (e.g. during the 0.1.1 version bump / PyPI release), unrelated to whatever else was being worked on.
