I recently had a Smile-G3-S8 with 38.4kWh of alpha batteries and 24 panel`s installed and am looking for some advice/insight from other people with the same inverter.
We got a g99 for 8kw from the DNO but the most our inverter will export to the grid is 5kw and the installer says that`s the max the inverter will do.
I have also noticed that charging from the grid the most the inverter will pull is 6kw.
I would have though being an 8kw inverter and having to get an 8kw g99 that the inverter should be able to do 8kw in both directions but trying to get the installer to even answer questions is like pulling teeth now that the install is done and paid for.
So anyone with a Smile-G3-S8, what's the max your inverter will charge from grid and export at?
