Build Your Own LaunchDarkly

Build a full-stack React + Spring Boot (Java) LaunchDarkly-inspired feature flag app with five to ten end-to-end features for creating, targeting, rolling out, and measuring feature flags, backed by MongoDB and a polished, accessible UI. The app must preserve the sample calendar repo's stack, install/build/start cleanly, and satisfy the acceptance criteria and verifier.

The app will be built in this repository, following the guidelines given. Start by reading the files in the order below.

Read in this order

  1. REQUIREMENTS.md says what to build. The feature list, the acceptance criteria, and the submission checklist.
  2. INSTRUCTIONS.md says how to start and how to keep the repo clean. It identifies the Spring Boot calendar repo to clone and study, along with the server setup rules, dependency rules, and code hygiene.
  3. AGENTS.md turns on transcript logging for this app repository. Read it before you open an AI assistant; it records every turn to a log file that you later export under /transcripts.
  4. GUIDELINES.md is the acceptance contract. Every rule the verifier checks is written here.
  5. skills/validate/SKILL.md is the verifier. Run it when you are done. It audits structure, stack, dependencies, install, build, start, API behavior, and MongoDB persistence, and it must pass before you submit.
