ProtoCentral ST1VAFE3BX Breakout — Hardware

ProtoCentral ST1VAFE3BX Biopotential AFE + 3-axis Accelerometer Breakout

Open-source hardware design files for the ProtoCentral ST1VAFE3BX Biopotential AFE + 3-axis Accelerometer Breakout — a single-lead ECG board based on the STMicroelectronics ST1VAFE3BX vital-signs analog front end (vAFE).

The ST1VAFE3BX combines a single-channel biopotential measurement chain with a 3-axis MEMS accelerometer in one tiny LGA package, letting you capture clean ECG while simultaneously tracking motion. This board is configured for single-lead ECG (3.5 mm jack + 3-electrode cable), adds a Qwiic connector for solderless I²C, exposes a selectable I²C / I³C / SPI header, and includes an onboard 1.8 V regulator with bidirectional level translation so it runs from any 2 V – 5 V host.
