One vgi.v2 registry generator with six language backends
The Java and C# registry emitters (main), plus the TypeScript, Go, Rust and C++ emitters written in parallel on registry-ts/-go/-rust/-cpp, each carried their own copy of the same concepts: method kind, catalog routing, schema factory names, record detection, name-collision checks, stale-table checks, and a derive-back parser with its own Arrow-expression reader and test scaffolding. This squashes those four branches and consolidates them into a single generator: - vgi/codegen/_registry.py (model) gains MethodKind, is_catalog, needs_state_decoder, schema_names, params/header fields, record helpers, identifiers() with a collision check, map_arrow_type() (the core rejects an unmapped type), check_record_table / check_raw_results, and the "unary has no header" invariant. Its docstring is now the design note for the single-generator architecture and says how to add a seventh language. - vgi/codegen/_registry_backend.py (new): RegistryBackend, which has render_body + derive plus target/repo/root_env/void_result/tamper, with banner, emit/render/main, and derived_methods built in. Also VoidResult (the port's "no result" convention), RegistrationRow, DerivedMethod + rebuild() (one derive-back harness, checked against the model), and ArrowDialect (one sandboxed Arrow-expression evaluator: a language gives only a rewrite table and names). The Go, Rust, TypeScript and C++ readers all use it, and the Rust recursive-descent parser is gone. Tamper, call_args and REGISTRY_BACKENDS are here too. - The six emitters are now RegistryBackend subclasses. Each one's derive-back parser moved out of the test file and into the backend. - tests/test_generated_registry.py runs one parametrization across all six (live hash, tamper, determinism, drift), plus core and language-specific guarantees. - scripts/regen_generated.py lists registry targets from the backends and honours each backend's root_env. All six rendered artifacts are byte-identical to the files the SDKs already adopted: vgi-java, vgi-csharp, vgi-typescript-mph, vgi-go, vgi-rust and vgi-c++ on their generated-registry branches. regen_generated.py --check reports nothing stale. """The registry generator's backend contract: what one language supplies, and what it gets.

5+
See :mod:`vgi.codegen._registry` for the design. A backend is a

:class:`RegistryBackend` subclass with two methods -- ``render_body`` (model ->

the language's file) and ``derive`` (that file -> :class:`DerivedMethod`

values, by the port's own derivation rules) -- plus a few class attributes
9+
naming its target and conventions. Everything else is here, once:
10+
11+
- rendering: the provenance banner, ``emit`` / ``render`` / ``main``;
12+
- :meth:`RegistryBackend.rows` -- the registration rows an explicit-registration
13+
port walks (params / result / header fields), with the port's
14+
:class:`VoidResult` convention applied;
15+
- derive-back: :meth:`RegistryBackend.derived_methods` rebuilds what a backend
16+
parsed into :class:`~vgi.codegen._registry.RegistryMethod` values (checking
17+
the method set and parameter names against the model) so the caller can hash
18+
them; :class:`ArrowDialect` evaluates a rendered Arrow schema expression;
19+
:class:`Tamper` is the one-edit mutation that proves the derivation reads the

rendered text;
