Safe-use notes:
- Portable app: runs from this folder without installing system services.
- Local-only: no upload, cloud sync, telemetry, or network feature is built into this app.
- Recordings and settings stay inside this portable app folder unless you choose another output folder.
- Optional Windows EFS encryption is available inside the Privacy tab for the recordings folder.
- Use LumaRecorder.exe for normal recording.
- Use LumaRecorder_Admin.exe only when you need Windows admin privileges to record elevated apps.
- Admin mode does not bypass Windows secure screens, protected/DRM content, login screens, or privacy protections.
- Uninstall_LumaRecorder.cmd removes this portable folder, settings, and recordings after confirmation.

Important trust note:
Windows SmartScreen and antivirus trust cannot be guaranteed by text metadata alone. For broad distribution, sign the executable with a real code-signing certificate issued to the publisher and distribute it only from the official source links above.
